Snails
render: vector
mask: bitmask
size: 25 x 25
frames: 90 per character
Vectorized sprites provide an easy method of animation. Initially, the characters for 'Snails" were created in CorelDRAW! as vector images. This allowed easy manipulation and rapid animation tests.

The 'Snails' characters provided a unique challenge: since they lack arms and legs, they don't have a huge range of motion. So I provided dozens of idle animations in order to breathe life in the confines of their 25x25 sprite.

Microtank Combat!
render: 3D Studio mesh
mask: full alpha
size: 40 x 40
frames: 32 per tank
3D sprites provide another alternative to easy animation. The tanks in 'Microtank Combat!' needed 360 degrees of rotation, so I created the models in 3D Studio and provided 32 angles of rotation.

GTA Mod - "Smokey and the Bandit"
render: pixel art
mask: bitmask
size: 75 x 40
frames: 8-12 per sprite
Pixel Art is usually reserved for immense control over every pixel in the sprite. While modding the original GTA (top-down view), I came up with a 'Smokey and the Bandit' theme.
