The world of Snails
These are scenes from the popular mobile game Snails, published by PDAMill.

Each scene was sketched extremely fast with a standard pen, giving them a fresh look. When these sketches were redrawn using vectors, the warped perspectives were retained and became a part of the Snails world.

Vectors are a standard method of drawing with a wireframe and fills, and makes color, resolution and object placement adjustments extremely easy. Approximately one scene per day was produced from initial sketch to final in-game scene.

Something that made these scenes interesting in-game was the fact that the foreground is a destructable terrain. As the terrain was removed, objects hidden in the background were exposed.
